Vinson Guard Service, Inc. Managers joined the Corporate Team in New Orleans for our Annual Corporate Management Meeting last week (July 25 – 29). Corporate staff joined Branch Managers, and Sales Representatives from across the six state region for a week of team building, collaborating on strategies, and continuing education sessions on corporate policy and protocols.
The week was packed with speakers and presentations by partner firms and VINSON personnel. Brent O’Pry, Quality Control Manager, educated our team about “Winning Through Quality”. Sidney Lewis, Practice Group Leader of Jones Walker‘s Labor & Employment Practice presented “Effective Management and The Law”, which focused on the do’s and don’ts of labor law. Cedrick Scott had everyone rapt with his presentation on “Diversity and Sensitivity”, which is a priority for us as an EEO employer. We believe in work-life balance and promote a healthy lifestyle for our team. To that end, we invited Mary Piper, CHC, to share health & wellness tips to improve lifestyle, exercise, attitude and nutrition.
